Give me your dire expectations and I'll consume perfection

~140 cm. Estimated middle-age due to general demeanor, but I'm unfamiliar with his species, so I don't know how many years that would be. Speaks with a thick accent, second in command of the Bizzyboy faction in town. They seem to be a secondary peace-keeping force that also handles whatever odd-jobs come their way. Romantically involved with the leader of the Bizzyboys, Hector.

Met in October, when the whole island turned into a hellish landscape of different fears made manifest. Being butchered over and over again seemed to... enrapture him as much as it terrified him.

~160 cm. Mid-teens. Flat affect, an eager student and a big trouble-maker from what I hear. I've been teaching them how to better handle a sword. They're talented, but a little hard for me to read... like there's another layer there that I'm not seeing, under the surface. Bit of a practical joker, but they take their sword practice seriously.

We first met when Kris joined the sword training class I put on for the kids at summer camp. I misstepped and put them on the spot, but we worked it out. They get easily overwhelmed with being made the center of attention. I offered to continue giving them one-on-one lessons after the camp was over. I'd never considered teaching before, but I actually really like doing it. I wonder if any of their friends might want a combat teacher too? I'm good with more than just a sword. I'll consider it.

We met while both of us were volunteering to guard the kids during summer camp. He brought me dinner while I was on guard shift, and we talked about the environments we grew up in. We're basically opposites in that regard. It was an interesting conversation.

~165 cm. Impossible to estimate chronological age due to how those of mixed-race age, but has reached full maturity.

We met in the worst possible circumstances, when that nightmare realm took over the whole island in October. A dungeon had broken open on the island, and we couldn't stop it. It may not have actually happened, but it felt completely real at the time. I won't forget it any time soon.

~170 cm. Appears to be mid-20s. I'm not really sure what she is, anymore, but I think she was at least born as a tall-man.

The dinner party... I don't want to think about it ever again.

We met when the island turned into a canvas of fear, stuck in Town Hall navigating an endless bureaucratic hell. He was screaming about how it was all pointless; at the time, I was annoyed that he was making such a scene. As much as I hate to admit it even now, though, he was right.

~180 cm. Mid to late 20s. A rocky start to our relationship would be an understatement.

Met when different manifestations of fear took over the whole island. We were both in the woods, trying to escape from monsters. I got caught in a trap he'd set out, and took off one of his arms while defending myself. When that didn't immediately make him pass out or go into shock, we ended up teaming up.

~160 cm. Early to mid 20s. A very important figure in town, and a charming young woman. Holds many secrets, though some have come to light whether she wanted them to or not. Olwylder informed me she is the daughter of one of the Demon Princes, but she does not get along with him. She may know the identity of Nyarlathotep, but be unable to say.

Met at the Oak & Iron shortly after my arrival here. I later found out she and Laios are romantically involved, much to my surprise.

Age unknown, likely very old. Informed me of the presence of a being called Nyarlathotep, disguised as a resident of the town. This entity is the cause of many of the troubles here, and Olwylder wants him gone in order to protect his daughter, but he can't directly intervene to find him. I was tasked to be his eyes on the inside, as it were.

He also loves to prattle on about his gardening.

Met when the fae circus came to town, in the golden tent. The fae there were constantly speaking of desires. We spoke on our suspicions of them.

185 cm. 26. He doesn't remember what happened in the dungeon, or anything after it. On the one hand, it's nice to get a second chance at truly meeting him, and doing it right this time. On the other... I miss my friend. I may as well be a stranger to this Laios.
